Located at 8-1, Jln Anggerik Vanilla BE 31/BE, this eatery brings forth the bold, fiery flavors characteristic of Sichuan fare, making it a favored spot among spice enthusiasts and lovers of regional Chinese cuisine.

The experience here is anchored by the masterful use of wok hei, infusing each dish with a smoky aroma and lively texture that lift traditional classics to another level. Dishes arrive piping hot, signaling freshness and careful preparation. Signature meat dishes, in particular, receive widespread praise for their tender, flavorful quality—highlighting the kitchen’s commitment to authentic recipes and precise cooking techniques.

While the menu centers on Sichuan cuisine, the restaurant also ventures into Hunan flavors, adding depth and variety. Face-to-face with richly spiced classics like green pepper pork and double-cooked pork, diners enjoy robust tastes that reflect culinary traditions from China’s southwestern provinces. The menu is designed for sharing, catering more naturally to groups rather than solo diners, with portion sizes that reinforce a communal dining experience.

The ambiance is clean and straightforward, with two private rooms accommodating up to a dozen guests—ideal for intimate gatherings or business meals. Service is prompt and complies well with health guidelines, though the warmth of hospitality presents room for growth. Communication is eased by Cantonese-speaking servers, which helps guests unfamiliar with Mandarin feel comfortable when ordering.

Bai Wei Xuan appeals primarily to those seeking an authentic Sichuan experience away from the often toned-down local versions. The restaurant’s approach allows customers to specify the level of spiciness, preserving the genuine heat for those who appreciate the true Sichuan kick. This flexibility, combined with solid portions and a well-curated beverage selection including ChingDao beer, enriches the overall dining journey.

Overall, Restaurant Bai Wei Xuan in Kota Kemuning is a compelling destination for diners craving authentic Sichuan cuisine with strong wok flavors and a no-frills atmosphere. Whether it’s a spice-filled group celebration or a desire to explore bold regional Chinese dishes, the restaurant delivers with consistency and passion, making it a notable culinary gem within the Selangor area.

First time at this restaurant despite being around quite some time. The food was delicious and came out with wok hei and steaming hot....tea was very good as well. Definitely will come back and try other dishes....prices are pretty decent given the serving size

Whenever there's craving for SiChuan dishes, this would be my place to go to. Operated by authentic China owner. They have always been consistent with their dishes' quality except for once... when they decided to lower the level of spiciness to their dishes to suit the local taste. Were quite disappointed and told the lady boss. Was informed to let them know when ordering to maintain the original level of spiciness. Definitely recommend this place if you like Sichuan dishes!

There are some delicious dishes. Others maybe not so acceptable for local Malaysian taste. But I would say it is rather authentic SiCuan delicacy. The meat dishes is highly recommended. The meat is very soft and tasty. Portion is small as compared to the price. So it makes the price slightly on the high side. Serves ChingDao Beer. Restaurant is very clean and staff was very compliant to Covit19 SOP. There are 2 private rooms that sits around 12 people. They accept eWallet payment and there were ample parking available on a weekend evening. Service was fast but not so friendly.

Quite authentic Hunan cuisine. Non fuss, service is fast. Server is able to communicate in Cantonese because I m hopeless in Mandarin. The only thing I would like them to think of is probably a smaller portion for solo diner. Portion is too big for solo diner But good for group dining. Highly recommended. Personally love the green pepper pork and double cooked pork. Would be back to try more dishes

Family style szechuan food. Very popular especially on weekends, you can expect to wait for a table. Dishes are flavourful. We went for the mildest spice for most of the dishes we ordered but the cumulative effect made us order cold drinks towards the end of the dinner. The spicy cold noodles are appetizing with a mild kick of vinegar and the crunch of peanuts. Stir fried potatoes are firm and a good foil for the other spicy dishes. Cumin lamb is tasty but lacks wok fragrance. Some char would make it better.
